Welcome to the 7th Annual Tug Hill Bluegrass Festival. The Maple Ridge Center property is a pristine Kentucky-style ranch set in the middle of Lewis County, New York and overlooks the beautiful Black River Valley. Located just outside Lowville on the East Road, you will enjoy a weekend of relaxation and lots of pickin’.

Friday:  $20.00     Saturday:  $25.00    Weekend:  $40.00 (Children under 12 free)

12th Annual Harvest of the Arts & Kite Festival - August 18 PDF Print E-mail

Don't miss this incredible family event on Saturday, August 18th from 9-5!  Join us and our special guests from the New York Kite Enthusiast (NYKE) club for a fun-filled event celebrating friendship, community, and an appreciation for the environment through the joy of kite flying. Admission and all activities are FREE, open to anyone who enjoys the arts or watching and flying kites.  The day will feature many family-oriented activities, including air show demonstrations, interactive kite flying, a candy drop, and a children’s kite-making workshop.  Fine arts and crafts will be available for sale in the main barn and outdoors, and a Children's Art Barn will be open throughout the day.

You can bring your own kite or make one for the price of your effort and imagination.  Hope to see there!

News - Events

Did you know that Maple Ridge Snow Park, in conjunction with Winter_Camp_Cross_Country_Skiing_2LC Fairgrounds, Earl Noltz and the Pratt Northam Foundation provide groomed cross country ski trails that connect the fairgrounds and Maple Ridge Center?   These trails are open for public use and thanks to a generous donation from the Pratt Northam Foundation cross country skis are provided free of charge!  Click here for a printable map of the trails.  Please keep in mind the following when skiing:

  • trails are open from dawn to dusk
  • only skis and snowshoes are allowed - no snowmobiles!  
  • cross country skis can be borrowed from the Warming Barn at Maple Ridge Snow Park anytime the Snow Park is open.  Hours are 12-5 Saturdays, Sundays and school holidays.
